How does the design and build process work?
It all starts with an initial meeting. We will work with you to understand your vision of your new home, Budget constraints and your site. Our designer will put concepts plans together for you. This design process may take a few meetings to get all the selections and finishes chosen. From here we will provide a quote based on the design and specifications. Fixed price contract follows this followed by consent and construction.
Do you have plans to choose from?
No we dont have set plans. All our builds are bespoke builds and custom from start to finish to suit you, your family and your section. We can use previous plans to tweak and change things too suit if needed.
Do you offer a fixed price contract?
Yes we do. We provide a comprehensive break down of all selections and and specifications that have been selected (no hidden costs).
Why should we build with CNC Builders?
With CNC builders, you are getting a small team from start to finish with no subcontractors. We like to get to know our customers and this helps us build you a home that is perfect for you. Sam will be your point of call from start too finish and will take care of all Project management. We are also Licensed Building Practitioners - LBP and members of New Zealand Certified Builders Association.
Do you provide a guarantee?
Yes, we are Members of New Zealand Certified Builders and offer an optional comprehensive 10-Year Residential Guarantee. This unique cover is a safety net for your building project that’s only available when you work with a highly qualified NZCB approved builder like CNC Builders.
What if we already have plans?
If you already have plans, we can take care of everything from consent application - if you haven't already. We will still take care of your build until its time to move in.
Are we allowed onsite during the construction process?
Totally, you are more than welcome to check out the progress of your build from start to finish with a member of the CNC team.
What happens at the end of the build?
At the end of the build, the team will spend a week or 2 touching up, cleaning and getting your new home ready for you. Then once all complete, we hand you the keys and its time to move in.
